On this page
This is the structure of a policy that has not yet been issued. The sections below set out what the policy will cover; the specific terms are still being confirmed and are not binding.
When a refund applies
Pending confirmation
A refund is considered where a payment has been taken and the journey did not run, ran materially differently from what was confirmed, or was cancelled within terms that entitle you to money back.
The specific circumstances that entitle you to a full or partial refund are being confirmed and will be stated here. Nothing on this page is a guarantee of refund.
How to request one
Write to the coordinator named on your confirmation, or use the contact page, quoting the journey date and route. You do not need a form.
Processing
Pending confirmation
Where a refund is due it is returned to the original payment method. The time this takes depends on your bank or card issuer, and is outside VerCab's control once the reversal is issued.
The period within which VerCab will issue an approved refund is being confirmed and will be stated here.
Partial refunds
Where part of a journey was delivered — a multi-day itinerary cut short, or one vehicle of several — any refund is assessed against the part that was not delivered.
Amounts that are not returned
Pending confirmation
Tolls, permits and third-party charges already incurred on your behalf may not be recoverable. Which charges fall into this category will be listed here.
If you disagree with a decision
Ask for it to be reviewed through the contact page, setting out why. A person will look at it.
