On this page
This is the structure of a policy that has not yet been issued. The sections below set out what the policy will cover; the specific terms are still being confirmed and are not binding.
Cancelling a journey
A confirmed journey can be cancelled by contacting the coordinator named on your confirmation, or through the contact page. Cancellation takes effect when VerCab acknowledges it.
Notice periods and charges
Pending confirmation
The notice required for a cancellation to be free of charge, and any charge that applies inside that window, have not been set. No cancellation window, percentage or fee is stated on this site, and none should be inferred.
Until this is published, the terms that apply to your journey are the ones stated on your written confirmation.
Changing rather than cancelling
Where the date, time or route can be moved instead, that is usually the better outcome for both sides. Ask your coordinator before cancelling.
No-shows
Pending confirmation
How a no-show is defined, and what applies when one occurs, is being confirmed and will be stated here.
Cancellation by VerCab
If VerCab cannot run a confirmed journey, we will say so as early as possible and arrange an alternative where one exists. Where no alternative is possible, the Refund Policy applies.
Circumstances outside anyone's control
Pending confirmation
Weather, road closures, civil disruption and similar events are treated separately from ordinary cancellation. How they are handled will be stated here.
Questions about anything on this page can be sent through the contact page.
