On this page
This is the structure of a policy that has not yet been issued. The sections below set out what the policy will cover; the specific terms are still being confirmed and are not binding.
From request to confirmation
You send the route, the date, the time and how many are travelling. A coordinator reads it and returns a quotation with the vehicle class, what is included and the fare. The journey is booked when you accept that quotation and VerCab confirms it.
Pickup and waiting time
Pending confirmation
For airport arrivals, pickup is timed against the flight rather than the scheduled hour, and an allowance of waiting time is included in the fare. For other journeys, the chauffeur arrives ahead of the agreed time.
The length of the included waiting allowance, and the rate that applies beyond it, are being confirmed and will be stated here.
Passengers and luggage
Passenger and luggage capacities shown for each vehicle class are indicative and vary by vehicle. Confirm the exact capacity you need when booking, so the right class is assigned.
Changes on the day
Added stops, a changed destination or extended time are accommodated where possible. Any change to the fare is agreed before it applies.
Conduct and safety
Pending confirmation
This section will set out what is expected of passengers, what a chauffeur may decline, and the safety rules that apply during a journey.
If something goes wrong
If a vehicle or chauffeur cannot complete a journey, VerCab arranges a replacement. Tell the coordinator named on your confirmation, or use the contact page.
